South Dakota land for sale. Delmont/Parkston South Dakota area. Approximately 30 miles south of Mitchell. The James Mayer Heirs will offer for sale, on private bids, the following described real estate: The Northeast Quarter (NE1/4) of Section 23, Township 99 North, Range 62, West of the 5th P.M., Douglas County, South Dakota. The property has approximately 56 acres of pasture and approximately 95 acres of cropland. This property will be sold by way of a cash sale, with closing in 2008. The sellers will pay the 2008 taxes, which are payable in 2009, and the buyer will pay all taxes thereafter. The cost of title insurance will be split 50/50. Bids in writing shall be submitted to and received by 5:00 p.m. on October 17, 2008, at Keith Goehring’s Law Office, 108 West Main Street, P.O. Box 851, Parkston, SD 57366; telephone (605) 928-3356. All bids should be made for the total purchase price, not per acre. The three highest bidders, plus any of the James Mayer Heirs, shall be entitled to make further bids at private auction at Keith Goehring’s law office. On the day of the private auction, the successful bidder shall pay ten percent of the amount bid. Possession shall be March 1, 2009. The sellers reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
